She has managed national title operations as well as developed skills designing and implementing customer specific process flows and service solutions. Cynthia defines her position as atypical of how most sales people are perceived. “The success of any new relationship is wholly dependent on the ability of a sales person to listen first. Only in defining the needs of a client can we truly offer a solution that benefits our customers, and create lasting, symbiotic relationships.” Cynthia goes on to state that the role of any consultant/sales person does not end with the introduction of services. It is merely the beginning. “Both the customer and the service team must define their new relationship as that of a committed team, adjusting for the changes and challenges that inevitably come in our business. It is not the occurrence of issues, but the how those issues are addressed that define a good service provider in this industry. The sales consultant is key to managing those processes and directing those adjustments.” Waterman has been in the title insurance industry since 1994, beginning her career selling title insurance to local realtors for a local Fidelity operation taking their lowest producing office within the division to a more respectable ranking. From here she moved on to building business and market share for an independent agent, tripling the net profits for their lowest production office, before beginning her national consulting and sales career expanding national title agencies.
